Seeking sight through research

After waiting 16 months to hear, Creed has been accepted into a research study. He has passed a number of tests at the University of Iowa, where the research study will take place. for final acceptance he must make it through six different mazes. Three with the left eye covered, three with the right eye covered. He also has to pass a field of vision test. IOWA and Creed's Cause 2013

We made it!!!! Creed and I have been invited to a baseline visit in Iowa. We leave this Sunday. I am so excited. Creed is the yougest child in the study. The basline visit will be two days. Creed will have blood work done, Eye exams and a Maze walk in the dim light.

We will then come home for 3-4 weeks then if all goes well we will be back at the end of March for another visit. Creed could have a gene replacement in April or May of 2013 or February 2014.
