That is way more then I expected for a first year.

Creed welcomes Dad home with a concert

Creed will spend hours on the piano and loves listening to all kinds of music, especially classical, on his iPad. After his Daddy got home from being out of town, he treated him to a surprise concert, playing Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star.

Today was a hard day

Each day is beginning to drag. The what if's are killing me. Today Creed has had a lot of falls, tons of eye rubbing and so much frustration. That brings me to the what if stage, if we don't get picked for this study what will happen with Creeds vision. When he realize he is loosing his sight. Tomorrow will be better, he will make it through. It's just been a tough day

The Forever Fix, dedicated to the children of gene therapy, is a celebration of science, medicine, parent activism, and most important of all, hope.

On a bright September Sunday in 2008, 8-year-old Corey Haas walked up the pathway to the Philadelphia zoo holding his parents' hands, looked up, and screamed. It was the first time he'd seen the sun.

Four days earlier, Corey had undergone gene therapy for hereditary blindness at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. An eye surgeon had gently placed billions of viruses bearing healing genes just beneath the rods and cones of Corey's left eye. Now, at the zoo, seeing the sun hurt.

Alex wearing her Creed's Cause tee.

Creed's Cause tees have hit the streets.  I am so excited to see the pictures of people wearing the new tees.

We found out on January 12th Creed has RPE65. That is the best news yet.
We have applied to go for a gene replacement study in either Iowa or Philly.
Creed and I would be gone for six months and he would continue going for testing once a year until he is 18.

Ted, Creed and I had our first interview on Monday for Healthy Living magazine. Creed was not wanting to show off any of his good behavior.

The tee shirts are selling so fast. I was trying to set up Pay Pal for everyone BUT I am just not that good with computers.

Thank you all for supporting us through this journey. I am so excited for what the future holds.
